What do you think the most likely culprit is?

This may be a dumb question but I recently got new wheels and now I notice that the gap between the fender and tire in the front is 1/4"-3/8" bigger on the drivers side than it is on the passenger side. What is most likely the reason for the difference? It's driving me crazy.

broken right rear spring, due to the battery being back there and worse roads on the right than on the left. This is only a most likely reason, not the only possible one.

Would that also make the right rear sit lower than then the left rear?
