Subscribed for hope.
This is my dream mod for the past 3-4 years. I'd like to see if one of you guys can get rid of that ugly gap near the rear fenders (can't see pics from work here)! |

The first method is bada$$, but so expensive. You are talking about cutting the front off your stock bumper and having it plasti-welded to the oem m3 bumper, then filler and repaint. So perfect but so much money. There is a company oversea's doing that and selling to the masses, unfortunately they will not ship to the US

Technically yeah, but I'd have to bring the bumper to a body shop and have them cut and bondo and than repaint. Honestly in person you cant tell but in pics it's very noticable

Modifying the shocks still leaves that gap. I've had an OEM M3 rear for years now, sitting in the basement gathering dust. I can't even find a shop willing to TRY that whole corner-splicing thing. And that seems to be the only way to do it right, unless you want to go crazy and flare out your rear fenders and spend tons more.EDIT: holy crap, I missed all the pics earlier in the thread. DOH! Nice work guys! Last edited by Bartacus; 02-23-2011 at 03:19 PM. |

another option that works....... I let mine do the plastic parts, but when I went to the LM reps, the tire was rubbing on the metal in the back so I had to shave that down with an angle grinder.
