Nice capture. It's always cool to get wildlife doing something instead of just standing around!

Ok got my sigma 85 today, did not have much time at all to play with it yet. Going to take it out for a test shoot tomorrow. Here a quick snap

Thanks yea, I didn't use any modifiers to soften the flash up. I shot those pics bare because the wind would've knocked my flash down. I've had that happen before and it was not a fun experience. I'm thinking of getting a softbox instead of using just my umbrella. But overall I was just happy that I finally learned how to balance flash and ambient under pressure. lol

Good point, I have to say model photography is pretty tough! I've been reading strobist.com trying to meter in my head and being able to nail down the perfect exposure. Just need to work on eliminating those harsh shadows.
