Because I travel a lot. I am a military officer. The Bay Area is where I call home but in the last 6 years I lived in many different states. Anyhow, that is my cell phone.

The components that I am selling will fit all e46 regardless of year or model.

Here is the reason:

The headlight assemblies (the black headlight housing) is model and year specific. This mean that you can;'t install a coupe headlight into a sedan and vise versa. However, the internal components (the stuff that I am selling) is 100% identical. This is how people are able to retrofit xenon components into their halogen headlights.

You can search this board for confirmation if you don't believe me.

Thanx for the interest.

There is nothing (repeat, nothing) wrong with this system.

The ONLY reason why I am selling it is because I am extremely low in cash and I need some money to help pay off some of my short terms debts.

Last time i was checking into it, it was quite difficult to install hid internals into a halogen housing. Something about adjustments if I remember correctly. Can anyone else confirm this?

would installing these cause problems? ie: warning lights, malfunctions, etc... Also, what kind of work would be necessary for install?

When upgrading your halogen to xenon using any methods, your onboard computer will detect a fault. You can simply pull out fuse #32 or bring your bimmer to the dealer and have them flash your ECU so that your bimmer can recognized the xenons.
