ProEFI E46 Kit initial release

Now that we have all the pieces in place, we are ready to start taking orders for this kit.

The Kit will retail for $3946, and comes with the ECU, fully populated adapter harness, boost control, Wideband sensor and harness, Fuel Pressure, and Manifold pressure sensors.

For the initial release, we are going to do a 25% off retail price (putting the kit just at $2959). This pricing will be available for the first 25 customers to get on the list. You can purchase the kit directly from us, or one of our authorized dealers, they will match that price. It's up to the individual shop how they want to handle the install and tune. If the car comes to ProEFI, the install and tune will be free!

Thanks!

Jason.

We will be installing and tuning with ProEFI at HPF. We will have a locked down version that will come with a warranty. If you want to unlock it at some point and tune yourself you may do so. This will add roughly $1500 to the price of our turbo kit. I have to work out exact numbers with Jason and my staff. There are a lot of cool features that ProEfi has including diagnostic capabilities. We will begin installing these in cars shortly. I want to do one or two and let them put miles on their cars for awhile before we open the flood gates. Let's see how they do and allow us to make any necessary changes. We are very excited to see this evolution and look forward to working with Jason.

Chris, so if it for me to upgrade, what the cost to upgrade, will our meth system will still work with E85, the only reason why I like the E85 is it is cheaper than race fuel with similar power

We will be disecting what other platforms the initial release will cover. Most likely we will be able to do ANY BMW from 01 to 06, but we will need to do minor changes in the basic harness for any differences. If you are local (or close enough to bring us the car) we will offer discounts for R&D loaners.

Chris what exactly does "locked" mean?? Im wondering how you all would warranty something when it is user adjustable. Will you all only use the pro efi system for stage 2.5 and higher kits or will it be available for stage 1 and 2 too.

Good question. I wonder what the effect would be with e85 and meth.

Same here until recently (last 3 months). But, the $hit is still expensive (2.99/gallon) when gas is 3.45/gallon. Doesn't e85 require equal require roughly 33% more volume. SO, the price would need to be roughly 33% lower which it is not.

Another good question. I was thinking the same thing for my 2000 323i DD.

That's a bit strange isn't it. Isn't California the strictest on emissions in the US. You think they would be all over E85

Chris, this is exactly why customers love HPF, continued innovation, with the primary focus being us, your customers . This unit is very attractive to most of us for two main reasons, E85 and no check engine light which means pass emissions no problem .

True, it doesn't make much sense from a daily driver economic standpoint, but you're also talking about running race gas power levels without the hassle and complexity of meth...

Not to mention actually having to buy race gas. Not Cheap. This is definitely heading in the right direction for more power at cheaper price. Oh and the no check engine light is nice. Although I cant see that it's on anyways. The Mickey ears cover it. Lol
