Painting Over Plastidipped Wheels

I was wondering if any of you guys know if you can paint over plastidip? my wheels are powdercoated black and im kinda sick of them, but dont want to sand them down and permanently change them.

My plan is to plastidip them first and then paint over it as a temporary color change, so i can change it up when i want and not destroy the powdercoat underneath. You guys think it will work? or just chip and flake off...

It will chip and flake off eventually, but depending how often you do it and how much prep you put into it, should last long enough.
