Haven't had time to posts some of the updates. Here's some:

Installed my BMW PERFORMANCE CF strut bar. Haven't seen any M3s with them, so I figured I'd see what needed to be done. On the left strut tower the alignment pin is in the way on the Ms. The pin is above the bolt where on the non-Ms it's below and has an opening. The right side is fine and pin and hole match. So after taking out the pin and the usual modification to the battery terminal it bolts right up. clearance is the same and no issues that I can see.

Photo also shows the sport/performance Bimmerworld Intake Elbow.

Had the windows tinted. light on the sides and dark on the rear. Needed to cut some of the heat down in the interior and protect my leather. I'm not one for too dark, that just gets too much attention from the police at night. This is similar to what i had before on my 323Ci but payed a little more for the metal that cuts a bit more of the heat. this is how it looks.

awesome thread! How did you get the stickers on the visors off? I also love the drivers side headliner handle addition, I never thought of that. It would help me climb into my seats without rubbing against the bolsters and wearing them out!

Damn I knew the strub bar would fit. F the RE strut bar now, time to search for a good deal on the bmw-p bar.

thanks, you can dab the sticker with a little "Goof Off" adhesive cleaner, it makes it pliable. Then you carefully just slowly peel it back at the edges and off.

Yep, think I was the guinea pig on this one. It fits, just the left strut bar cover has a casting with an opening in it for the factory Non-m alignment pin. But the M has it above the bolt where non-m is below it. One can either drill a hold for clearance in the strut bar cap for the factory pin or remove it with a hex key and be good. I was going to drill a hole then noticed it just unscrews so I went that route. Fits good, but I may have to cut some of the hood insulation like in the .pdf instructions. I didn't have to do this on my M3 hood on the 323Ci but it appears to be rubbing more. Not that big a deal but just giving my impression for those who may follow.

Today was Test Fit of my CF one piece bumper lip. Only test fitted and not even taped so there are large gaps before someone says it has them. It may be just a bit too aggressive for my subtle style but then again it may grow on me. Not sure if I'm gonna mount it yet. After the trunk and diffusor get done this week I'll see if it 'fits" more with the way the car looks.

Nice CSL BK. I friend of mine had the same issue with his lip. He just Got pissed and we ended up using screws to force the fitment. Now he wants to mold it. He loves it too much to take it off. LOL
