It needs to be calibrated after a wheel alignment. I'm guessing that your abs Dsc and or brake light is on? Just to let you know there are a ton of things that can cause those lights to come on. Go to a indy shop that has an autologic or gt1 and have those codes read then go from there.

Once you have the codes come back and tell us what the codes are and we can point you in the right direction. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone 4 using BimmerApp

Thanks for the quick reply. I actually have a snapon solus pro and the code it is giving me is "5e43 steering angle sensor internal" I can clear the code but after just driving a short distance the brake light and dsc lights come on and and stay on in an amber color.

Unfortunately I can only view the speed sensors my scanner won't let me calibrated or even look at steering angle data looks like I'm off to the dealer after I replace it. That or spend $1200 for the BMW software.

even the BMW software for the solus won't do it for you. That is a useless tool for BMW

Autologic or ista. Gt1 is pretty much a dead tool for servicing BMWs now. Even SSS 32 will no longer program some new DSC or steering angle sensors

it ended up beeing a bad steering angle sensor. there is a good diy thread for replacing it i did it on the fly. I was done in a couple of hours. The hard part is finding someone trhat can calibrate it other than the dealer.
