NBA Playoff Predictions

So, I'm interested to hear your guys' predictions for this year's NBA playoffs. I'm from Chicago, so naturally I'm a huge Bulls and Derrick Rose fan. I can see the Bulls meeting the Lakers in the finals. I think the fact that Bulls have home court will make our trip to the finals MUCH easier (after all we're the best home team in the league ). Also, I don't think that anyone can beat LA in a 7 game series. San Antonio is too old.

All in all, Bulls beat the Laker's in 7.

Magic> hawks 4-3
Boston > knicks 4-2
miami> 76ers 4-2

bulls>magic 4-2

If lakers win it will be over 7 games. Bulls have been locking down on defense all year long. Lakers have good amount of big mens. However bynum went down last night with hyperextended knee (had that happen before )

I agree with your predictions alot actually. I think the Bulls will sweep the Pacers though, too many Bulls fan in Indiana. It'll be like home court all series long. That Bynum injury is gonna hit them hard.

Boston can't beat Chicago at home. That Kendrick Perkins trade was their dagger. The only reason I think that they are the Bulls' biggest threat is because Rondo is the only guard that can keep up with Rose.

well this last game they played he couldn't. so they put west on rose. Rondo can't shoot so you just have to control his passing lanes and you stopped him.

Lakers will beat the Bulls in the finals.

I want to say Lakers and Celtics, but with all of the Lakers problems (lost Blake, possibly lose Bynum/Barnes) and the way the Celtics have been playing it's looking doubtful. All the trades the Celtics made kind of messed up the great team they had before.


I've had high hopes for the Bulls and Thunder for a while now, but they're still semi fresh teams with very little playoff experience. I'm thinking the Bulls momentum will carry them though.


The Heat are hard to say. Will Lebron choke? If he does, can Wade still carry them? Or Lebron might just explode to prove to everyone he can hold his own when it comes to the playoffs.


I'm personally rooting for Lakers, Thunder and Bulls. If Blake/Barnes/Bynum don't come back (that's our big man and half the bench.. we're left with Odom and Brown and Brown isn't that great, he just puts on a good show which isn't going to get us anywhere) I'm definitely siding with the Bulls.

update: bynum should be good come playoff's.

Too many people from LA on this forum . Iwannagofast, I think the Heat will go as far as they have home court. They really lucked out getting that 2nd seed. I just can't see the Heat winning on the road, esp in the clutch.

Yeah, most of my predictions were right. I thought that Memphis would win 2 games, but not 3. I thought that Orlando would win in 6.
