Driver's window auto up & top function

Driver's side window goes down partially when putting top down like all the other windows, but doesn't go back up with the top up/down function is finished. Also won't go up with the all 4 switch, although it will go down. the individual switch will raise or lower the driver's window normally.

Just started doing this a couple of weeks ago. Any ideas??

Don't know, I have the same issue. Let us know the resolution.

There's a thread here somewhere about retraining your vert windows if you disconnect the battery. From (my hazy) memory, it's something to do with the auto-seal function when you close the door & the roof is on. Think it involves running the window all the way down & then all the way up & then down again without interruption. HTH.

That should be a sticky if it's written well.

And not meaning to hyjack the thread, but when you use the key to open the top, why do the windows wind up closing at the end rather than opening? Am I wrong to think that if you want the top down you'd want the windows down too?

I haven't tried the key-in-the-door opening method. I'll try it and let you know if the windows are up or down at the end.
