Car Solution eOpen top module - anyone install this?

The thing available for $129 at eas:

http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1866

anybody install this? I'm worried about putting the top up/down at 15mph when the mechanics weren't built to take the extra wind resistance...mind you if the wind is blowing already (at a stop) it still opens and closes just fine...but not as often I guess... hmmmm

Go with your original gut feeling - the soft top mechanism is a complicated piece of engineering and is designed to be put up/down when stationary for a good reason.

You can ditch the itop module and find someone who can code your car. This will allow your top to open and close with the key.
Heres a video I made last fall using my car right after it was coded.

I read that these eOpen modules are sent out with no installation instructions and it's a mystery how to install them. The function can be programmed but most shops won't do it because it's actually illegal in the US.

Do you know how/where this coding is located? Trying to get my local shop to find and activate it for me. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Curious as to why you would want to do this.

Even if I were able to I would never open/close my top while the car is in motion. Just the wind and air pushing against it while its halfway through would scare me.

Does anybody know if there's anyway of changing my key so I only need to press it 3 times instead of having to hold it to put the roof up or down?
