E46 Wheels
Im only 17 but am obsessed with BMW. I just got a 2004 325i (with the 5 speed of course), traded it from a 91 318is which I loved. Do all of the 5 bolt patterns fit any car or are there certain measurements? Thanks!

If it's a wheel from an E46, it will fit your car. The only exceptions are the 19" M3 rear wheels and 330's which have larger front brakes that will not clear 16" and smaller rims.

My Ride: is schwartzed out

To avoid future flamings...
This is a topic that you can absolutely
and easily find an answer...In the interest of getting you on the right path, and not clogging up General with threads, here's the basic E46 wheel specs; Bolt Pattern; 5x120 Hub Size; 72.56 (although you'll see it rounded to 72.6 most of the time) ET's that fit non-M's are generally between 30-50 (based on rim size) This is the best of the Wheel & Tire Size Calculators... You should continue to search through other wheel & tire threads, but use this as a back-up so you can get a better perspective on how fitment will be... My personal suggestion in choosing wheels is to not push your luck. Stick with 17's or 18's, and make sure they weigh at or less then 20lbs. You'll avoid putting strain on the driveline and suspension that way; thus mitigating future expensive headaches... |
