647Whp through the stock exhaust! :)
We have been having some fun doing some testing on my M3. I had a blow off valve failure that catastrophically exploded my stock intake manifold. So the guys over at Saad racing built me a REALLY nice Aluminum one to replace it. Once this was in place, I decided it was time to turn up the boost a bit and see where the stock exhaust was done. 643Whp with 15 PSI of boost on top was the result, it started to get pretty unhappy over 6k, backpressure was at 35psi on top! So ofcourse we decided to drop the stock catback and see where it would go. As luck would go...we were up about 40WHP at 6k with the same boost when one of the stock coils decided to go in to the light! So that ended our night. Dyno graph to follow with some pics of the new intake manifold.

If you guys thought jason and me were talking about the coils , we were not.
We were talking about the igniter(s) which the stock DME has built in, aftermarket ECU's tend to use external igniters(which is what i take jason has used a bosch one) or coils which have igniters built in(only know of V.A.G 115-R who fit's the M/S 50 engine) |

We will be coming out with HPF coils in the near future, so stay tuned. We will also be releasing our new HPF engine cover that has ducting and vents to allow the coils to cool properly so they don't overheat and fail.
Chris.

Chris is there any chance you would build some coils that have built in igniters ? I know of alot of people who don't really like the VAG ones and would like a S54/M54 part *hint* |

You said 67% ethanol. How did you come up with the %? Does something output the %? Was this a "premix" you made? I know I've been beating this to death. I'm just looking for some solid answers/info? Was this from a pump? If it is from a pump was it "sold" as e85? I Awesome numbers!
