Ground Control Spring Question, 7" Up Front

E46 M3 with GC/koni setup:

Anyone ever run a 7" (#430) spring up front? I know ride height may be an issue...

i think that'd be too high. I run a 6" spring in front, my collar is dropped to the lowest setting and it's not close to low. I think a 7" on the lowest setting would be higher than stock.

My Ride: has no hip-hop rimz
7 is a bit tall - especially with that spring rate.

Bump for more info.

Now that I"m thinking about it. Lowest perch height and tophat position are fixed, regardless of the spring height.

So, all it comes down to is preload.

No one running a 7" spring up from on a Koni/GC setup?

Why do you want a 7"? Comfort? Aren't your dampers adjustable?
