how often do you take time off?

i usually go 3-4 full weeks on weight training, then 1 full week off. I seem to go stagnant after the 3rd-4th week and that week off seems to give that new week 1 a real nice boost.

Thoughts?

My Ride: has free candy.
I lift for 2 solid months, 5-6 days a week.

2 week break.

Repeat.

in a week: 5 days of lifting, 1 day of cardio, 1 day complete rest
i take a couple entire weekends off per year because of vacations and about 2 or 3 entire weeks off per year just to rest.

Good question. I take a trip to Brazil annually, so during my month stay there I usually don't workout (..although I did hit the gym my last week in Vitoria, E.S.).

I used to work out like everyday. But when I hurt my back I'm now doing something everyday - rehab mainly and it is helping. Bed rest is the worst thing for me.

I usually take a full 7-10 days off after 6-8 weeks of training.

One full month of weight (heavy & light) lifting and training and then one week of. That one week off i just do strictly cardio which is just plain running. Then repeat.
