Post your targets/groups

I usually dont take pictures of my targets and i have more guns than this but here's what I have on my comp.

This is a Marlin model 60. The story behind this. I traded a $60 range finder for it and had a custom 10/22 at the time(drop in trigger, bedded stock, some other crap). I took the model 60 to the range expected nothing and stock it out shot my custom 10/22 by alot. I was happy and sad at the same time but sold my 10/22 a few weeks later.

Heres my $60 marlin 3shot group @ 50yds Dime for reference

Heres it after I decided I wanted a blonde stock so I refinished it

This is my carry gun M&P9c 25yd 5 shot group(slow fire/standing unsupported)

S&W 22a I recently picked this up on a trade and I am head over heels with it. No FTF and shoots great. I have a custom buckmark but I recently shot a bullseye competition with the stock 22a and placed 7th out of 50.

This was my first trip out with it and I have gotten much better with it since(slow fire/standing unsupported).
25yd 5 shot

Yup I haven't shot another model 60 so I don't know if its just mine(older 18rd longer barrel) but I do know they outshoot 10/22's out of the box.

This was a few weeks ago. Standing, semi-rapid fire. Basically, fire as soon as the sights picture is clear. 25 rds, 15 yards

Cool thread. I'm on my way to the range right now.

A marlin? What kind of scope you have on it? I'll take pix of my 10/22 groups at 50 yards. Those are some good groups though

Yeah, great groups. I have a 10/22 with a heavy fluted barrel, some trigger work, and an overmolded stock with a scope. I can shoot the center out of a small target all day long at 50 yards with that thing. I'm amazed at how accurate a .22 can be with a little work.

Then I go over to the pistol range and feel lucky to get all my shots on the target at all. I'm getting better, though!

Shooting pistols involves a lot of technique, much more difficult than shooting a long gun.
