well, it was just a test. The clear sidemarkers were fading and looked like sh!t. So I decided I would try the spray tint. After a couple light coats it looked like crap, so I just kept applying. Yes, they are black, but it is transparent. The only way to get a clean even look is if you apply it to the point where it is black.

damn that sucks, i've always used vht for tinting so now sure how rustoleum is. is the tint shiny at least? that is like my pet peeve when it comes to DIY tinting. it's often matte and looks crappy that way IMO lol

Yeah, i guess that is the price you pay for "cheap" tint.

well you can polish it or spray on gloss clear, but most people don't even do that.

the projectors are here, i already tried a test fit, and damn the projector is still big as hell. it will require A LOT of cutting. but it's smaller than the OEM FX projector by a little bit. just enough to fit it into this weird brace looking thing (assuming that it will after i do the cutting).

well, trying to take sidemarker pics while it is blinking in broad daylight is not the most ideal thing, so I pulled it in the garage.
