Transmission fluid cooler lines(remove/replace)
I've searched and searched and there really is not a whole lot on this! I've started to take pics to hopefully put a good DIY out there however, I'm a litttle stuck and need help with putting the new one in. I got the bad one out, but now trying to squeeze the new one in seems so difficult and seems it could have been designed to be much easier! Someone noted that removing the engine mount bracket really helps, so if that is the case what would I need to remove to get to that bracket because its pretty deep down in there. Any help would be great before I have to tow it and have a shop do it!!!!
here are my questions: 1.Does anyone have any tips and/or tricks on how to snake this part metal/rubber hose in there? 2. If removing the engine mount bracket/mount helps, what would I need to remove to get to that bracket because its pretty deep down in there. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

This must not be a common problem. If someone may have a repair manual that might explain the process and what may need to be removed that would be great also!!! thanks

You have to get the car up high enough to be able to work the line/s around the cross member and around the engine mount. Other than that , its fairly straightforward.
