Exclamation Shock Noise

I will be replacing my rear spring coils this weekend, but I hear a hiss from my shocks when I hit a bump. Is this normal shock noise? Where is the jack point in the middle of the car (differential)?

All cars does this. Go stand by a speed bump and listen for newer cars that are in good condition when they go over them you will here this Hiss sound. It is completly normal unless all the cars have bad shock.

My Dads 2008 VW Passat he just bought from the dealer does the same thing and so does my BMW.

Nothing to worry about and I have no clue about springs never done them before

Hope this helps

Definitely a more noticeable sound in my 323i than I've had in any previous cars. I think it sounds cool though.
