Got a ticket this morning on the way to work for 75 in a 60 (494N in Eden Prairie). Worst part is that I was going with the flow of traffic. This is in addition to a ticket I got as part of a speedtrap on the same highway back in February (77 in a 60, again with traffic flow).

Both times asked to prove that the car was mine which was frustrating. Anyone have a good traffic lawyer or any suggestions on how to keep this off my insurance? Plan on going to court but I doubt the judge is going to be very lenient, although I'm 23 with a perfect record before February 2011...

The February one was just before Hwy 7 in Minnetonka, and today's was under the Bush Lake Rd. bridge in Bloomington. I have a V1 but it was instant-on laser both times, couldn't really do anything.

Bah that sucks. I live right off of 7 and 101 so I know the speed traps very well! haha. Went from having a black 330i to a bright red m3 yesterday so we'll see how much i stand out now..

HWY 7 has been getting worse and worse. A couple weeks ago I had a unmarked cop riding my ass for 15 minutes; every time I sped up to put a couple car lengths between us, he shot me with radar.

It would be cool if we could compile a list of local known police speed traps and then map them onto Google maps. This would be similar to the members map on MNBMW.

I've been seeing cops more and more frequently everywhere the past few days, especially in the Minnetonka area. Especially with the nicer weather they seem to be more likely to camp out with the window open and the laser gun at the ready.

Yeah I've seen a lot more cops now with the nice weather. I pegged the cruise at 70 on the way to work this morning and people were flying past me way more than 5-10 over. Just sucks that I get tagged for going with the flow of traffic @ 75. It is what it is though... Again, anyone know a good traffic lawyer? I don't even know where to start looking.

Sick ride by the way- I always loved imola red. Haven't seen many imola M3's around so if I do I know it's you! Just got my 2002 a few months ago as well. Stay safe out there.

The same Maple Grove that has given me 3 warnings for tint gave me my ticket tonight....
