its a sick car, saw it at the NY auto show last week. Id prefer red though, the orange is nice but it just doesnt seem to go with this car too well

Man I guess I'm alone in my complete dislike of this car. To me it looks like woman's car. I know this may sound crazy to you guys, but I would rather have a modified E46 330i or stock M3 all day. I have never been a fan of the 1 series though.

OP,
Great job. Glad you caught it.

I too agree the overall body design is a bit of a downer - more frankenstein - than what a true M should look. The front bumper and fender with their minor rakes/creases look like some junior japanese design after thought.

I agree. I think the 1 series is a 3 with a squished nose like a pug. And it's totally a chick car. The e46 m3 is wayyy more masculine and better looking imo.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're real quick and handle like a go cart and I'd take one if one was given to me, but I'd take an m3 over one any day.
