Is there any way i can turn the daytime running lighta off myself?

Yes, but it is not as easy as you may hope. You would need a computer with proper coding software, and an OBD cable supporting specific protocols (I can't tell you more, I don't fully understand how it works yet).
Then you need a lot of patience because you will be dealing with German abbreviations and tons and tons of settings. And screwing one could have effects that would make you regret trying to DIY.

Well, if you have a good indy that has the computer and the knowledge, it should be cheaper than $150. You might get pretty upset when the dealer charges you that amount after hooking up a computer for 2 minutes maximum...

The dealer in KC only charged me $35. Don't assume your dealer charge is the same charge across all dealers.

Find a local fanatic with the GT1 tool. Regardless, you shouldn't pay more than $50.

Any local shop with an updated ODB computer for BMWs would be able to do this.

i can do it if you're ever in charlotte....also there is a fanatic up in greenville nc that can do it

DRL's can be turned off using Autologic/GT1/NCS. Most euro indy shops tend to have Autologic computers.
