they wont throw an error...and h1 because the projectors are design for h1's you could also try the morimoto d2s projectors as well like stated a couple post ago. reason why i chose the h1 was because i didnt want to do a full d2s conversion which would cost almost twice as much for ballast and bulbs and such. keep in mind this is supposed to be budget friendly lol

ok sweet i am going to order them today after work, and have been looking through the website and have only 3 questions.
1. the adapter plate, do i select H7 or H1?
2. do i select bulbs as well, and will this come with the HID ballast?
3. what is the wiring that i see in the pictures, on their website? is the wiring straight forward.
4. How did you cover up the back of the head light, where the bulb used to go in?
sorry for the questions, i just don't want to waste time or money.
this DIY is sick, will be using it when i get my retro fits.

1. you shouldnt really need the adapter plate. the housing from the oem has the h7 plate already....that little silver piece i took off in one of the steps...
2. bulbs you can get the bulbs wherever you like, i just chose ddm and yes it should come with ballast if you ordered where i did.
3. wiring is simple, the h7 has only 2 prongs so does the hid kit. so just plug and play.
4. the rubber boot will fit with slight modifications. since you dont need to cut the housing, i believe you can just trim the rubber piece a little and it should fit.

Well I'm not a noob. I just wanted the same ones OP ordered.

I've been reading this thread for quite some time and have ordered the Kit myself, should be arriving in a few days and i'll be posting some results when they are all installed. One thing ive been searching up on before they come is the Adjustment of the HID's. If anyone else is having a problem heres a link:

http://www.cyforce.org/tsx/tsx-headlight.pdf

Go to page 2, on the right hand side. Hope that helps

Mobile app still not working for me. I will though

I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.

How does aiming your headlights still work? For halogen housings, does the whole housing move so you still retain the ability to aim your headlights?
