What Brake Pads Should I Get??

I'm going to replace all my pads and I can't decide what to get. I'm looking for a good balance between cost performance and wear. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

If your street diving it, and not tracking, stock pads work great. If you still want an upgrade, go with Performance Friction "Z" Rated front pads & stock rear. Rember that your front brakes carry between 70 to 75% of the braking load on your Bimmer.

Was about to recommmend the same thing, Rob. They will be my next pads - plus they're pretty damn inexpensive.

I know you've already ordered your pads, but in the future you could also consider Carbotech pads - they are cheaper than the PFBs and the quality is the same.

How good are the regular PF street pads compared to the more expensive "Z" rated version? Bimmerworld has them for $40 so it's very tempting but are they even worth giving a try. I just want OEM bite with LESS DUST!
