AP exhaust too loud!

Just purchased and installed a nice *looking* AP exhaust for my 03.5 M3.. it looks great, but is much louder than I wanted. I am a business owner in town, and know all the police, and feel embarrassed when I drive through town, with all eyes on me. I feel like this exhaust really takes the "class" out of the m3, and need a solution to quite her down, or will entertain any reasonable offers to buy.. less than 40 miles on her and Im already over it! Help!

AP is one of the more aggressive sounding exhausts. You need something like the remus sport or dinan. I'm sure someone will want to trade. AP is pretty desirable around here.

I wanted something tasteful and was drawn in by the titanium tips.. looks soo good.. but the sound is far from "tuned" .. too loud for me.

You can always get the Titanium tips and have them welded on. I'll be doing that with my new exhaust on the TT.

Just look for any exhaust that is labeled "sport" not "race" and you should be fine. It helps to source out someone local too that's running the muffler so you can hear it first hand.
