Flying object + headlight = F#@!

So, I'm driving to work today on the highway when this big black what appeared to be a rubber object flies out of nowhere right into my passenger side front end.

At first it didn't seem like that big of a hit until i pulled up into work.

I had no time to avoid as it just flew out of the sky and hit my headlight and broke the lens,corner,and dented my hood.

Nobody got hurt which is the most important part,these parts can be replaced.

It looks worse in real life...

get an OEM/OE replacement. should take you about 10 mins to replace. =)

Same thing happened to my passenger-side corner light during the drive from the hotel to 4ngiefest this year. I had to leave a cloth draped over the corner light so nobody would see.

I bought Khoalty, but they didn't slide in all the way to clip in, but they sit flush. Also... there are cracks starting to appear around the edges... like the seals are cracking. I don't know. It's weird. From five feet away, you can't tell, though. I'm going smoked the next time around.

I'm using only OEM parts.

I just put the OEM clear corners on like 2 weeks ago

Ordered new OEM lens at dealer for pickup today.

The worst part that bothers me is the hood and how it's dented. The fitments don't look aligned and straight due to the dent as you can see in the picture.

Good. OEM is the only way to go when it comes to lighting (especially the corners). There is a noticeable difference in quality when you get up close to aftermarket lenses.

damn. that's always scared the crap out of me on the highway... a couple years ago i actually had a wheel hub get kicked up at me on the highway. the FD RX7 in front of me got a flat tire from it, it bounced off my hood and broke my windshield in 2 pieces. one of the loudest sounds i've ever heard. badass though.

Last night my foot became a flying object into my driver-side headlight.

It's been funky since I got the car and finally gave out completely.
