HID Issue - Flickering & Flashing

I have issue with my HID headlight, I installed a conversion kit in my 323i about 2 years ago. I've never had any issues with it till last week. The passenger side light just started flashing and flickering, its like trying to drive with a strobe light. What could be casuing this, I believe it might be the relay, but not sure. I hope someone could point me in the right direction to get this corrected. Thanks.

Bulb going out? Relay has become loose over the years, or it's overheating

I don't think it's the bulb, I switched the bulb to the driver side, and the bulb works fine. I noticed that the ballast makes a ticking noise with the flashing of the light. Maybe this is the problem?

I would say it's the ballast. Try switching the ballast around and if it does the same thing then you know what's wrong. A replacement ballast is cheap on Ebay (around $30).

Think I'm gonna replace the ballast, and see where that gets me. I thought at first it was because of how cold it got the past few days where I live. But after going through trial and error, I believe the problem is with the ballast. Yea, pretty cheap on eBay. So would there be a quality issue with buying from eBay?

Not yet I ordered a new ballast, just waiting for that to get here. At first I thought it was the cold, too. Does both sides do it?
