dayusmc,

Try a different unrar program?

It worked perfect for me on the first try.

It was a bad installation why mines got water in it. I'm not sure what that piece is called but it's the long piece that holds both license plate light, the piece with the four screws, the piece that goes over the license plate.......anyway, the wire to the camera was sticking out just a little after i screwed it back up and i didn't realize. That's where the water ran through to get to the camera lens. The camera is great...very clear, but like i said since the water damage it hasn't been so clear.

So now I'm waiting for Jeff to get them in stock

Oh and the other "guy" said they weren't that great...They lied.

Another question on the ipod. Does it start at the same song it was at? Or makes u search everytime?

I know it doesn't auto resume at the same point, but if maybe it stays at the same song it'll be better.

Anybody try Google voice for making calls from the android side of the app? If it works then there is your bluetooth in Android, as long as you are tethered you could most likely make/receive Google voice calls and it can have your contacts sync with Google servers This is assuming the Android side uses the microphone provided?

Since my phone is an Android phone then Google voice will have all my phone contacts and sync them with the unit.

Any word on this fix for co-pilot? I would purchase the legit version of co pilot(20 bucks) and that will solve the Off line navigation.

They sell a version of copilot on their website for $25 that doesn't require an IMEI

You have to search for the song again. It goes back to the first iPod screen everytime.

How do you turn on Accessibility? Settings/Accessibility/ the option is greyed out and I cant click it to turn on.

I think I can make Dynavin read out received Google Voice text messages through the speaker but that requires Accessibility to be on.

Currently while Im tethered I can make calls and send text in Dynavin using Voice action commands and Google Voice.

I've already gotten into some trouble with receiving instant messages from my wife (which get displayed on the taskbar) while others were riding in my car. Just keep in mind that having it automatically read your voicemail could be bad.

On a side note, I discovered today that the brightness button on the power strip widget comes in handy during night time driving.

3G Modem

I've found a chinese modem called like that, MBD-500HU and I've ordered one of these to try. Delivery time is about 10 days, so I'll let you know.
I'm asking for some help here. I got the modem, and disabled the PIN. At first boot, the Dynavin showed something similar to coverage bars in the titlebar. But after that, when I click on "3G Network" to activate it, I get the message "Connection failed". Do I have to install anything extra?

My modem is like this one:
