umnitza angel eyes
i recently purchased a angel eye kit from umnitza . i want to install them but i see the instructions are for always on .. i dont want them always on i want then to turn on when i click my light switch to the middle (before headlights turn on ) NEED HELP!

pretty sure he is referring to the light switch. when you turn it half way and the corners come on

Parking lights. Instead of tapping the wire in the DME, tap the grey wire with the purple stripe in the LCM wiring bundle.

I replied to your PM.
There are two wires: Trigger wire - makes the angel eyes turn on/off with the interior lights ECU wire- makes the angel eyes turn on when you turn the key to position 2 and when the car is on. Once you turn the key to position 2 they will stay on, has nothing to do with the lighting switch.

Tapping with the corners: I don't think it's possible because the corners stay on with the headlights also. OR maybe its possible with the programming.

How about you tap into your fogs, that way you can turn them on/off whenever your heart desires

Look at pages 9 and 10 of the attached DIY. If the parking lights is not the position you want, then tap the wire that connects to the back of the switch at the position you want. If it is not readily apparent, then it's trial and error. LCM = Light Control Module or Light Switch.

i got mine wired as my DRL. when i received my package of AEs, they didnt even make my bundle (little black box forgot the name sorry) right, we had to splice and solder all kinds of wires, but hey maybe your package has better luck!
