Cool project, man. Considering how frequently stock main hardware fails, I don't think I'd consider doing it again. But for sure, considering the success rate of stock hardware, I'd prefer to run that than hardware with less thread engagement, no matter how nice the fastener.

Dunno if my post mislead you , or if your post is misleading me.
However the M50 mains fit , but i'm switching them for S54 ones as the M50 ones obviously isn't long enough to fully set with the nut on.

I must have missed where you mentioned s54 main hardware before this post, but cool.

Though, not unlike m50 studs, the s54 hardware is also intended for an iron block. Why not just use aluminum block hardware? Why mess with it at all when issues haven't been observed reusing factory bolts?

Yeah im aware of the iron block specs
I had a set of M50 ones from a previous build that wasn't used (the engine was scrapped as it had cracks in it)
A local shop agreed to switch them for S54 ones for $10 , and since i don't have the stock bolts..

Thanks for the kind words

Rom : Im tuning it myself , i plan on getting the baseline using the link's autotune(tunes for a set AFR) and then im going to "loan" the local airstrip so i can get it down perfect
Calle : I don't want to give anything away just yet , but there's a reason im switching for an 450g transmission(woops just gave something away^^)...
