2002 320i (m54 b22) oil consumption
Hello E46 Fanatics, I am new to the forum and looking for some advice.
I have owned the title car since 2006 and the oil consumption has always been suprsingly high - about 1 litre per 750 miles. The car has FBMWSH, according to the dealer this consumption is within tolerance for this engine. I am aware (as probably BMW are) of oil consumption issues with the M54 B22 I wont bother pursuing the dealer for any help, but shall channel the energy into researching what the problem actually is and how to go about fixiing it. Of course this post assumes the noted oil consumption is indicative of a problem The engine has covered 81.5 Kmiles. Any help would be appreciated. |
