There are a couple of vids on youtube, but nothing specifically showing the TMC in detail. Primo 1.2 does support pay TMC in the US over FM. I wonder if it uses something like this RoyalTek USB TMC/GPS. All that would be needed is one of the rear USB ports to be openable as a COM port by the WinCE board. I can't imagine how else they are doing it?

No, on the TMC equipped models the hardware is built in and there is just an antenna plug on the back of the Dynavin unit.

Jeff - Does the unit support faster microSD card? meaning, does the speed on loading/navigating functionality vary with different "class" card. I am using a class 2 card.

Can you get one? How long would it take?

Does the DVB-T still have that 8 bit green grid overlay?

OR does it look like this now?

Can all the loading splashscreens for things like DVD be changed from BMW to Rover/MG just by changing an image file?

dynavin just changed to a new DVB tuner and I have not messed around with one yet.....so I dont know....ill have to play around with one, I wont be able to receive any stations but I could at least see what the menus look like.

The splash screens are part of the firmware so you can have a BMW logo or a Dynavin logo, but thats it at this point.

Whether I could get you one or not depends on dynavin's availability....

Was there a firmware upgrade that allows for better ipod controls or is it just for the steering wheel? Ipod controls are pretty spartan...
I guess I am going to have to create more playlists to compensate.

use the remote for ipod control....much better that way. Root button, arrows, and enter button.

When I go into the menu from the aux screen ... there is no option to turn on or off the amp? Am I missing something?

You don't have the correct firmware, contact your dealer.

From the AUX screen, to get into the setting, press and hold 9 in the remote control and you will see the settings.

Thanks Jeff,
Ill give them a shout ... Looks like I have the firmware from November last year and not March but from what Im reading I don't like how the latest firmware changes the IPOD advancing function during NAV ops.
