Pad? As in skid pad? Skid pad, drag racing, and auto-x will not put much strain on your rotors.

Even two trackdays would probably not manifest any problems unless you are running a very heavy car, running a lot faster than a stock 330i, running r-compounds and trackday pads, etc.

Yes Chris I agree with your statement. I guess I thought I had read some other forums on this subject stating that Porche rotors had cast holes. Of course they will all function properly over time in "general" automotive use. If they didn't they wouldn't sell. And they certainly serve a purpose in their design.

I use my car everyday to work and I noticed that the rotors are warping. I had thought about changing them to holes vs slotted but now i'm having seconds thoughts of just replacing them to OEM's.
