Hmmm...I've got a 2000 328i that did not come with heated seats but my wife would love to feel the heat (no witty retorts please...thanks...;o). Does anyone know if I were to get these that I could then hook them up on the dash via the OEM/replacement switches and voila...heated seats like they came with the car? If so, how difficult/costly would it be to do this?

Thanks!

yes, you can buy the OEM heated seat option...you'd get the heat elements and need the switches for them. Everything for about $200-250 depending on which dealer you get them from.

Is there a heated seat retrofit if the seats dont come with heat? I have the switches already in my car because my seats are heated but I'm purchasing 2-tone seats without the heat function...

Same question here. Is it possible to add a heating element to a car that does not have heated seats?
