My Ride: '01 M3 Coupe
mirror memory module location

The car in question is a 2004 325Ci (05/04 build date) with power memory seats and mirrors. Was trying to help a friend replace this part over the weekend and we could not find it anywhere. On my '01 M3 it is mounted right behind the door panel. Does anyone know where this part is located on his 325? Is it still a separate module on his car or is the mirror memory built into the seat button module or inside the mirror perhaps? Any help is appreciated.

Bump. Trying to figure out the problem with my car. I've checked the Chilton and Bentley manuals and can't locate the memory modules..

Parts in question are 61-35-6-916-054 and 61-31-7-067. First is for the module in the door, second is for a module supposedly located under the driver's seat. We took out the glove box and kick panel under the steering column and weren't able to find either of these modules. Any other suggestions? Thanks guys!
