indicator remove

Hi guys can anyone tell me how to remove front indicators on e46 2000 coupe thank you LIVE THE DREAM.

If you mean the front side flashers, then just pry out with plastic prying tool...according to Bentley...I haven't done it.

On the front side turn signal, next to the headlight:

You'll see some holes in the metal just above it. One of these is oblong.

Stick a flat screwdriver, with blade perpendicular to the sides of the car into this oblong hole. Angle it maybe 10-15 degrees down so it's pointing to your front wheel, but otherwise parallel with the side of the car. There is about a 1" long concave surface in the plastic clip that you'll feel. If you push in the right place, it'll be spongy a little...that's the plastic bending down. Keep pressure on it while gently pushing up on the handle of screwdriver so you slightly push the housing out.

Then pull it out until you can disconnect the plug. Once you get it, look inside to see how it lines up for installation.

I'm not sure if the old side indicators remove the same as the facelift ones but if you slide them forward towards the front of the car those ones just pop right out. Same motion for installation.
