Is it just me, or can 1911 grips be addicting?

Starting to buy quite a few. I removed the Kimber Raptor II grips to keep them safe. Right now I am looking for a set of thick grips. Nice they are so easy to change out.

As I mentioned in the other 1911 thread I've been debating, looking, etc getting a 1911. I happened upon a great deal on a Kimber Pro Carry II and will be buying this tomorrow with the original grips and custom grips for an organization I am a member and volunteer recruiter for (shameless plug http://www.georgiacarry.org/)

I'm a huge fan of the VZ Operator and Operator II grips. Put them on my Kimber SIS, and love them!

I think I will be getting the VZ Operator or Alien grips next. Always liked them.

If I get another 1911, I'll be getting the VZ Slim grips.

I'm real picky about my grips, I usually stick with USGI grips on all my 1911s.

I actually like my black rubber checkered grips. Have some military ones as well and wood grips. I do like to have a few to swap out though. The rubber ones work best for me at the range. I know they are all personal preference. I liked the look of the black carbon fiber ones but the grip sucked. Right now looking for the thickest grip I can throw on my Kimber.

I have a Springfield Armory 1911 parkerized "Loaded". I went with clear anodized Alumagrips.
