Glad to be here, I need some advice re my 2001 330ci
I own (actually still paying on) a 2001 330ci, coupe with 91K. Lost my job in 2008, found another job but is paying much less. This week had to have the alternator replaced ($700.00). Car also needs an Exhaust Position Camshaft Sensor and Valve Cover gasket which I can do myself. Due to making less money, I really can't afford these expensive repairs anymore. The car runs great, has new serpentine belt, pulleys, alternator, tires are Michelin 1 year old. I know I probably will have to replace the water pump. Question is, if I still owe $8,100, should I keep the car or sell it? Love the car but economics are ruling. What do you all think? What else can probably go wrong with the car that would be super expensive to fix? It is a stick shift. Thanks
