new guy with an a/c issue

This info/experience sharing is a great idea-lessens frustrations and saves us all time and money--car blows cold then warm from dash vents--a/c set on full up fan speed--recirculate--temp setting to lowest--dash rollers at vents on blue--used to be cold now alternates cold to warm--freon pressure levels checked ok--replaced the heater control valve on the fender wall under the air intake nozzle--no change--outside air temp sensor under the front air dam is intact and the reading it sends to the dash is accurate--(it really was 98 degrees today in Tampa)--i'm told there is a sensor inside the cabin (where ?)--and the thought of replacing the whole bloody dash control computer module makes me crazy--that has to cost a thousand bucks----anybody out there with a similar thread ?
