Yea true true.

I just ordered headers, so I wanna get it back on the dyno.

I have done an A/C delete, 3.38 LSD, and some other stuff since my last dyno. So I'm curious to see if I break 220.

Andy is absolutely correct on the A/F issue. On a because racecar like yours, some people prefer to run it on the more rich side of the A/F curve. This is an added safety net in higher temp conditions, otherwise you're fine. Intake, headers, cat delete, fan delete, TB/ASC delete, and a tune should be good enough for 220-230whp. I would look into getting that AA chip tweaked or going with a SHARK chip.

Got my car dyno today (baseline) so I can dyno it again after my M54B30 intake manifold swap.

Did a total of four runs. Highest run #4 at 168.96HP and 161.07. I saw two minor dips at ~4.2K RPM and at ~6.3RPM. Will post result soon

m52TU25, automatic, exhaust, headers, intake, shark

Honestly the car feels like another vehicle. I am very, very happy with the results not only on paper but when you drive the car. Feels much more torquier and all you need to do is slightly depress the gas pedal and the car is going forward like never before. I plan on finishing up this mini project with a set of ebay headers and see what happens with that.

Regards,
Mark

I emailed you back on the header information. I can only imagine how much better this manifold works with the tune versus just bolting it on. I can't wait.

Thanks for the header information. In my car, when i only had the M54B30 intake manifold the vehicle felt much more responsive and peppier. Now its really nice indeed. The M54B30 intake manifold definitely makes a nice diference on these vehicles.

Mark

Dyno from a while ago. I know it's not particularly useful since it's uncorrected and there's no torque graph or RPMs. FWIW, other people there that day said that the numbers they were getting were generally in-line with what they've got in the past (generally slightly lower). I do remember it was quite hot that day. I was also on pretty shitty gas for whatever it's worth.

E46 M3 with Euro headers, Euro cats, and European DME tune. If you do a little bit of math, it looks like the torque is somewhere around 240-245. I do want to repeat the dyno, especially since now I know where I can get the RPMs from. They say I should be able to get 290-300 with these headers - since the car has had time to adapt since the dyno I'm thinking maybe my numbers will be better next time.

I don't think the A/F ratios are right btw, so ignore those.

It seems "Someone" didn't like the title "The Official Dyno Thread".

Maybe you could get it changed back to: "The Unofficial Dyno Thread"

PS, it wasn't me.
