Looking to get bushings replaced

hey guys
I am new to E46fanatics....I need to get my front control arm bushing replaced. I am going to get the poly bushing, and have a friend willing to do the work. Now here is where I need your help lol
He said $390 to get them replaced.....what do you all think about that price?
If you know of any shops near or around burbank,ca please let me know....specially if they are willing to do it for a lot less lol
thanks guys!

I am getting the powerflex from EAS, they are down in orange county and I live in burbank,ca which is not much of a distance but traffic is crazy....do you know of any shops closer that carry the powerflex? So 400 bucks to get the bushings replaced is good? dang it still seems kinda high lol

oh man $390 is insane for a "friend" to do it! its supposed to be priced less than the dealer!

I just got the ecstuning bushings and I swapped them out in ~1 hour! all you need is a philips head screwdriver to loosen the front skidplate, then a 16mm socket for both the bushings and to pull the chassis plate. a 4 door has a different chassis stiffener so you may not need to even pull it. I used the stock jack to push the old bushings off the back of the control arm. you don't even take the wheels off! don't unbolt the suspension arm other than the bushings!

I never realized the front control arm bushing just pushes out?! I thought you'd have to press it out lol.

i think i can handle this bushing swap man, i swapped out motors, and tranny swaps, and clutches lol. how hard can changing a control arm bushing be looks like common sense. ive changed bushings on a civic and other cars.

whenever you guys are ready to swap them out come talk to me. i'll inspect the ball joints, tie rods, etc, everything you need to get a good alignment.
