Changed my extremely dirty airfilter with a K&N drop-in. She feels sooooo much better now. I cant believe how dirty the previous owner let this filter get to!!

Last few days:


Oil & Filter change
Gear oil change (twice )
CDV Removal
Stainless brake lines
Clutch & Brake fluid flush
Replaced shifter bushings
Autocrossed it





Doing the gear oil, shifter bushings, and CDV delete at the same time made an unbelievable difference in the shifting. I can't believe what a difference it made, all three made very distinct improvements to how my car shifts.

I tried to blow it up again but once again it didn't.

Replaced bushings, spark plugs, wheel balance, and alignment. Drives straight as an arrow now and no shaking.

sounds awesome! I wanted to do the cdv for a long time now and havent done it. I also have a short shift kit waiting to get put on, and i know a new bushing will eliminate alot of play. NOw im gonna consider a gear flush too

Definitely do all of those, you'll be happy. I recently installed an SSK and changed the tranny fluid in the M3 (CDV was already gone) and couldn't be happier. All really easy to DIY too
