It's really easy to do it yourself. If you need help I'm sure someone here can give you a hand in exchange for a case of beers.

Is this what you're talking about?

How hard/easy is it to use one of these? It would be great if a bunch of us could just buy one of these and do it ourselves.

Bought the scanner from Dealextreme for about ~45 bucks and turned them off myself - very easy to do. Worked out great because now I have a diagnostic scanner as well. Dont pay someone to do it, buy the scanner - you wont regret it.

I am weary about buying one as most have disclaimers that you could easily mess up your car. Could you provide any details of your experience on the one you bought and if there were instructios? Which one did you end up buying?

That's very cool... did you have a background or experience with this type of device or is pretty easy to figure out?

I would love the one touch rear window closing and the auto door lock to close at 20kmp.

It's pretty easy to use. Its basically a check menu on things you'd like to see on and off.

There's some screen shots:

Thanks vv23. That's awesome

Sorry for the numerous questions. So is it as easy as clicking on the LCM icon and then removing a checkbox for daytime running lights?

Yup. Go into the light check module, click coding data, then recode/reprogram and just uncheck it
