S&P has no credibility as this point. They failed to downgrade the toxic mortgage-backed securities in 2008 and the calculations for this downgrade are off by 2 trillion dollars. The big boys had the downgrade info a week ago. Any move has been priced in.

Everyone hug, buy SPY calls, and enjoy 1440 SPX by year end

What he said. Plus, Japan had 3 credit downgrades in the past decadr or so with negligible effect. China's whining is more likely to affect the market than S&P's downgrade
