After reading this for the 4th time Neil, I am ready.

I'll try to be less evil than you when it comes to teasing. I suck at it anyways. I can never just put the tip in. I always go balls deep.

Heads up.

This DIY is hard, long, and annoying.
I gave up on the WHOLE interior, and did dual-tone.
Mostly because I decided that my front seats aren't worth the hassle (damage) and I am going to install buckets later down the road.

If you do it, clear your schedule and make sure you have help.

I just looked through your thread again. I'm seriously considering doing this over the summer. I just wonder if I have the patience

I was looking to see how you fastened your door panels back together. The leatherette is coming away from the backing on my driver's side door. Thanks for posting the screws.

Definitely amazing job... thinking about doing the champagne color with a black 'vert... should look pretty clean. But, definitely looks like a lot of dedication! Well done!

Remarkable project!

Hi believe it or not I was looking around for infos to rebuild the pop's E39 Auto Tranny box but I didn't knew how I came into this thread and just went into all 28 pages and I have to say it's just absolute mental for the work being done to convert that interior. I'm out of words to describe the incredible work that has been carried out to achieve that goal. I'm envious to be honest and now I'm also psyched to do my interior aswell for my car.

It's not a beamer so be nice though. :p

(Sorry for crappy phone pics)

I would love to re-do my interior just like the M6 Competition's interior color scheme along with my current Matte White setup.

I'll be re-reading this thread once again to look which stuffs do I need to dye the interior cause I'm already pretty sure I can't get those in my country. Need to order them off somewhere. If you can pin-point me any websites that ships internationally for the stuffs, I would be glad!

Once again, love your dedication and work that has gone through the project. One of the best project I've seen so far next to seamless welds in engine bays and titanium exhaust welds...... well I don't know how to describe anymore.
