So far your project is looking good.

When you complete it with the S54, try to get the limited slip differential from the donor car as well...should be an awesome project!

sgplayer69 the sound with the M3 exhaust makes the 325i sound a bit different, don't expect a v8 sound tough.

Looks good OP. Hope one day you'll go through with the engine swap. If your wallet is bottomless, the sky is the limit.

I noticed the same thing too

sgplayer69 you need to cut your sedan extra wheel housing to be able fit in the M3 exhaust, I would recommend just to get a custom exhaust work and add the m3 replica bumper, without the need to cut unless your planning to expend big bucks.

hardtop once the M3 stuff is in I will take care of that. I don't want to mod any mechanical stuff to the Sedan suspension.

Would it fit? I know this guy is good with body work, but I was under the impression that the coupe hood is too wide to fit on a sedan period.

Gas guzzler tax doesn't apply to used cars. And this is more than a false M3. I much prefer the E46 sedan to the coupe, if BMW built a proper M3 sedan I would've taken one over the coupe any day of the week. Or if I had this guy's skills, I would've converted my old ZHP

If you intend to do an S54 swap, you're going to want to change the suspension. M3 engine is quite a bit heavier. I think you could probably get away with running M3 suspension all around if you swap in the rear subframe too.

Also... You should paint the roof-rail trim silver for a cleaner look (330s and M3s came with that trim painted from the factory fwiw)

Thanks, the side stripes are very dificult to paint, we prepared them and primed left over a week on the sun then painted. Rear bumper was done with 2 paints to give a graphite effect, and using a screen.

Sanding - Primer - Dry - Re sanding then Paint and allow to cure for at least 24hr, then sand the clear coat. and ur done. just b carefully with re installation not to bend the stripes to much.
