![]() Sorry its not that close but it did come out good. Step 1: Tape the surrounding area, i did 3 widths of 1.5" tape and still had overspray. But its easy to clean up with a dry rag. ![]() Step 2: Clean trim well to help it adhere. Step 3: Paint a coat, wait, paint a coat, so on and so forth til its done. I only waited about 10 mins each coat and you can spray quite a bit on there with out any running. Step 4: The worst part, remove the tape without taking the rubber with it. May try breaking the rubber between the tape and trim so it wont come off. I didnt and had to respray a few spots when it came off the trim. Step 5: Enjoy and know it wont last forever, i still kinda liked the chrome on black look so i may go back one day if i get chrome rims.

THIS... you mean now we have to worry about spontaneous combustion?
****... Im ready for a TDI But what I did today was button it up from doing a complete intake manifold, CCV, PS pump/hose, belts and overall cleaning of DISA and ICV. Probably some other stuff I'm forgeting. Detailed the engine bay some and cleaned underneath to spot any leaks, oh yeah, replaced oil filter housing gasket too. Ever...get carried away degreasing and cleaning, your splash guard? Weird how that happen. I nearly painted it just for grins, crinkle black. Didn't though. Still need to get a SAP. Bought one from a douchebag on here and it didn't work. Won't return email. 3 prior posts, I should have figured.

Listen to this, the car was OFF and LOCKED, sitting in the driveway when we noticed one of the Xenons blinking rapidly. Then look inside the car and it's full of smoke. We got the door open and immediately the driver's vent burst into flames. Luckily I was able to put it out with a fire extinguisher. Enough details now, I'll be making a whole thread on it very soon

Did they send it to Ganley? I was there this morning for my PPI and I now recall overhearing a breif conversation regarding a car in no specific context other than "With that much damage, it's for sure a goner".
Oh...what'd I do for my E46 today? I sold it. |

Re-attached my rear passenger-side window regulator and cleared the CEL on my CPS which I accidentally unplugged while re-installing my throttle body after cleaning it and re-opening it.

That thing was a pain to wrap. Two of the corners around the window switches are kinda wrinkled but you can barley noticeable.
