I have the exact same setup you have for my facelift sedan, except with LED bulbs. Turn signals, sidemarkers, and tailights fit like OEM and I have not had any problems with leaking or moisture. My brother and my buddy also got all of their DEPO lights from Khoalty for their prefacelift and no problems yet. Khoalty is also the cheapest I found. Just re-seal the lights to be safe.

I had great experience with their customer service. Very quick email replies. They forgot to send my sidemarkers with my large order but promptly sent them out after my complaint at no cost.

I picked up the depo smoked led tails locally from KHOALTY last week, they fit well and look great on my black e46. I have only had them for a week do cannot really comment on durability, but they don't feel cheapy at all.

Khoa was cool and gave me a few pointers on installation. I will be ordering the rest if my lighting next week.

We sell a lot of DEPO stuff and have for years, there are a few people who have issues but pretty much all of them are fixable. A very very slim amount of our corners have the condensation issue but I can't think of any time since I've been here it hasn't been fixable without swapping the corners for replacements.

OEM is always better than aftermarket, but in my opinion, and this is not because I work here, OEM cost is typically just not worth it. All of my BMW's have DEPO products on them, they all blink, they all fit, they don't fall out, and they don't get condensation, so really I don't think OEM is worth it.

My E39 I /did/ do a HELLA Celis tail retrofit, but that's because it was a great deal and there is nothing aftermarket that even comes close to them.
hey man, thanks for your honesty and i agree, once i get the money il definitively buy them. thanks

I'm not arguing with you and I'm not saying that OEM parts aren't worth it because by all means they really are worth the extra cost. It's just that sometimes, some of us don't have those options.
You have a pre-facelift (2001) so the proper lights are R/C, not R/C/R. I provided the correct link for these lights.

Good luck with the aftermarket crap buddy. I'll be looking for your post in a year when your lights go to sh*t and your here complaining about them...

My Depo corners are fine and have had no issues. People are always complaining about melting their corners when they buy those chrome bulbs though. Get LED tower bulbs. You have to install a resistor but they're just as invisible and look cooler and last longer and won't melt your sh!t. I got mine from Umnitza, but if I had to do it over I would probably call Khoalty instead considering the great experience I had with them buying my EE tails and the not-so-great one I had with Umnitza...

my depo r/c/r taillights purchased from Khoalty are great, not leaks, hazing etc. Front turn signals are fine too. The only grip I have are the turn signal markers and how the weather stripping is starting to crack.
