No, I definently did do it right. The old intake boot worked like a charm.

It was the worst HOUR of my life. German cars have absolutely no space to work with, even the cheapest fixes. But anyways, the intake boot had absolutely no tears so thats checked off from finding a vacuum leak

+1. When I had my 94 Mustang GT, I raced an e36 M3 not knowing how out matched I was. He killed me, I was in 5th doing about 120 and he was still pulling on me like I wasn't even there. Oh and my stang wasn't stock either.
I have always loved BMWs and that was the deciding factor that put the mustang on Craigslist the next day.

Back to BMWs though, I washed and detailed her. Found out I have a SMALL coolant leak so will be ordering a coolant kit from ECS in a few days.

Had a fun drive today but a window regulator broke and the window was down in the door..and it rained a bit :/ When I got home I took the door apart and pulled the window back up and taped it in place until I get another regulator.

Replaced my oil filter housing gasket and cooling system (sans radiator) yesterday!

Had to take out the expansion tank again today and re-seat the AT thermostat and re-bleed the system though, but overall, everything's all cool.

Not really today, but tranny fluid change, oil change, cheap-o windshield wipers (until I can get the PIAAs), spark plug change, hood cowl change.

Finally figured out how to turn off all her stability and traction systems, then opened her up on the wet and open roads in Atlanta! (There are literally no cars on the road today, like, none)

Then its time to take her on a 250 mile journey to University. I will wash her windows with some Invisible Glass when I get down!

I figured a comment like that would appear. I am a safe driver, I only did it because there are no cars on the road today. If I manage to run off a 10 lane road, I really need to rethink my driving ability. Its not like I was sliding around the place, haha. I just enjoy (and I am sure she does too) a little wheel spin off the start then when it catches, that great burst of acceleration. You cannot beat that feeling.

VANOS seals and VCG. Long job (ten hours over two days - I'm slow), but thanks to Beisan Systems' excellent DIY, it went quite smoothly.

Cleaned up the cabin and the trunk. I used a USPS box to put some of the crap that was flying around my trunk in and it's being held down by a bungee cord. I also took a few pics today.

I have a Thule Trunk Organizer for random stuff, it's collapsible and has an anti-slip bottom. :thumb up:

I like to use a wooden wine crate. Works nicely
