Hey John, any progress or thoughts on which direction you guys are going with the replacement turbo? Have you figured out what exactly caused that last one to fail? Thx

At this point, no decision has been made. We are exploring a couple different options.

We got the E46 back here in NJ, yesterday afternoon. The turbo is boxed up and ready to ship to Comp. They are going to disassemble it and figure out whats going on. They are on the west coast, so they should have it in 4-5 business days.

do you know what kind of internals you will be using for the low compression build? do you have them in stock? im puting a s54 into my sedan and plan on adding boost. so while the s54 is sitting in my paddock... i should just do low compression built internals....

Hey Kev - will do. The storm wasn't too bad. Mike did have to stay overnight though to keep water out of the dyno pit, but it was all worth it. Nothing was damaged.

Two new turbos should be here in a day or so. In the meantime we have the stock intake plenum off to test fit our aluminum plenum. Stage 1 is still going to use the factory airbox at this point, however we will have an aluminum plenum ready if we decide to go that route. I also have an aftermarket rear muffler to swap on in addition to the cutout that should be installed in the next day or so.
